Full of memories from my childhood, I loved coming back.
Nice pool with 2 water slides and a shallow kids area with slide and play area. They also have a splash pad area. They have a concessions area, but I didn't use it.
I remember going to Baker Park when I was a kid. Now I am taking my daughter. You just have to make sure whatever they are playing on, is safe. There are a few issues with the park. But for the most part, it's OK.
Its def changed since I was younger. Theres an awesome new skate park by the pool where the basketball courts were located. I think ill miss the volleyball court that was there by the basketball courts. Truthfully depending where you are in baker park is what's important. As long as your not around the skate park its still a great place for young kids. But up there by the parking in front of the skate park usually has teenagers/ young "adults" up there doing inappropriate stuff and yelling inappropriate language. So I will never have my daughter in that area. But in the fun place we didn't run into any hoodlums running around acting a fool.
We have our family reunion here every year - large shelter house with the park equipment for children close by. Beautiful setting for a reunion but the restrooms need updated! Not clean, very small.
