Not your typical doughnut shop! Here, the cake is soft and pillowy, the frosting fresh and generous, and the flavors sweet, sometimes with interesting contrast (jelly filled), and unique. WARNING: this place may just ruin your ability to enjoy doughnuts from anywhere else. Night and day above typical.
I grew up 2 blocks from this place and the quality of the donuts are just as good as they were 50 years ago. I go there every night for a midnight snack when in town.
The best donuts I've ever tasted! They just put in a great espresso bar. I tried the hazelnut latte and loved it. The new atmosphere is perfect. I will definitely be spending even more time at this place!
