We arrived 5:30 pm on 5/28. All tables occupied, waited approximately 20 mins. I had chicken livers, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans. Great place to find good country cooking, seasoned right, mine not salty. Great.
What a great place to stop for breakfast! We are headed out of Indy to the east and stopped on a Saturday morning. We loved it. The staff was friendly, the chairs were comfortable, the food was delicious. What more can you ask for.
Price and quality of food was absolutely amazing. Our waitress Rachel Lamb was awesome. It is located in New Castle Indiana and is well worth the drive. The tenderloin was very large, beef manhattan was plentiful and the rib eye sandwich was tender and very flavorful and the Mac and cheese is awesome. We will be returning.
Love! Love! Love! This place. Great place to come for home cooked, well made food. It is a little slow so come when you are not in a hurry. It is well worth the wait.
Amazing food! I've never had a bad meal here. The food is always fresh and handmade. The tenderloin is massive! You can easily share it with another person or take half of it home. The fried fish is fantastic too. You cannot go wrong the blackberry cobbler. I would give it 5 stars, but the space inside is limited and trying to get a table can be difficult, also trying to leave while there is a crowd waiting is difficult. First come first serve seating, but people do cut in front of you and steal tables.
